Four arrested for assaulting Police officers in Rambukkana.
Four people including two women were arrested for obstructing the duties of the Police, and assaulting the officers in Thismalpola, Rambukkana.
The two Police Constables were beaten up and attacked with a sharp object when they were attempting to arrest the group.
The officers who sustained injuries in the incident were receiving treatment at the Rambukkana Hospital and then transferred to the Kegalle Hospital for further treatment.
The suspects arrested in connection to the incident were residents of Rambukkana.
