Professionals Trade Unions to launch strike against tax policy.
The Professionals Trade Union Collective will launch a strike opposite the Ministry of Finance in Colombo at 12 noon on Tuesday (17).
Spokesperson of the Government Medical Officers' Association Dr. Chamil Wijesinghe said that the strike will be held citing several concerns including amending the government's tax policy after the first review of the International Monetary Fund.
The trade unions have launched a series of strikes against the government's tax policy.
