Three arrested over ATM robbery in Madurankuliya.
Three suspects have been arrested for breaking an ATM machine of a private bank in Madurankuliya and stealing an amount of Rs.10,549,000.
Police Spokesperson SSP Attorney Nihal Thalduwa said the suspects were identified as employees of an organization that provides security when transporting cash to ATM machines.
Rs. 9,277,000 of stolen money were found in the suspect's possession.
The suspects aged 23, 32 and 35 are residents of Anuradhapura.
The suspects who were arrested last night will be produced in court on Wednesday (18).
This theft was reported on the 8th of October.
