Magnitude 4.65 tremor in the seas off Sri Lanka's east.
A tremor measuring a magnitude of 4.65 was reported from the seas off Sri Lanka's eastern coast.
Acting Director General of the Geological Survey and Mines Bureau, Ajith Prema told News 1st that the seismic event had taken place some 310 km away from Batticaloa.
He said the event posed zero-risk to Sri Lanka, and there was no tsunami threat to the island.
