Heat Index Alert: ‘Caution Level’ Expected in Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka's Met Department warned that the Heat Index, the temperature felt on the human body, is expected to increase to a 'Caution Level' across the Western, North-Western, Southern provinces, as well as the Mannar, Vavuniya, and Anuradhapura Districts.
The following two-page statement was released on Facebook, by the Department of Meteorology.
