Railway workers end strike; Operations to return to normalcy.
The strike action by railway trade unions was suspended on Monday (24) evening.
All railway operations scheduled for Monday (24) evening will be restored, said Sri Lanka Railways.
Railway Power-Set workers said that they decided to engage in a trade union action, citing multiple demands, including the slashing of overtime payments, and delayed promotions.
