Nigerian sentenced to death in Sri Lanka.
A Nigerian citizen has been sentenced to death by the Colombo High Court on Thursday (06 July) for charges related to drug possession.
The individual was found guilty of possessing and trafficking cocaine.
The decision to impose the death penalty was made by Judge Namal Ballle after the person was apprehended with 245 grams of cocaine
