Two men with suspected gun shot injuries were admitted to the Trincomalee General Hospital. Reports suggested that a shooting had taken place in Kuchcaveli, Trincomalee.
Sri Lanka Police said that it received information that two young men travelling on a motorcycle were shot at, at around 1:15 early on Monday (3) morning. Police said that the injured men were aged 18 and 21.
