Meegoda Co-Operative Insurance Chairman shot; Police suspect former Chairman for the shooting.
The Chairman of the Co-Operative Insurance Company was injured in a shooting in Meegoda on Monday (5) morning.
Sri Lanka Police said that he was shot at when heading to assume duties in his position, and he was hospitalized following the incident.
Sri Lanka Police suspect that the former Chairman of the Co-Operative Insurance Company may have carried out the shooting.
