Railway Station Masters on strike.
Railway Station Masters have been on strike since midnight yesterday (09).
President of the Railway Station Masters' Association, Sumedha Somaratne, says that the strike is being carried out based on the issue of appointing an officer to the position of Deputy General Manager of Railways in charge of commercial activities.
When inquired in this regard, the Deputy General Manager of Railways M. J. Idipolage said that trains are scheduled to run today according to the schedule.
