Port City Bill to be debated and voted tomorrow
An adjournment debate will be held in Parliament today regarding the coronavirus pandemic situation in the country.
This was in response to a request made by the Opposition at the last party leadership meeting.
Accordingly, the debate which will commence at 10.00 am will continue until 5.00 pm.
It has also been decided to limit the parliamentary session to two days this week due to the Coronavirus situation.
Accordingly, the Parliamentary sessions will be held today and tomorrow.
Serjeant-at-Arms Narendra Fernando said that all arrangements have been made to hold the Parliamentary session in accordance with health guidelines.
Meanwhile, it was decided at the party leaders meeting that the Port City Economic Commission Bill will be debated tomorrow and the voting to be taken on the same day.
