
Senuk Herath produced a fine performance to book a place in the fourth round of the Boys’ Under-14 Singles at the HNB-Hutch Clay Court Tennis Nationals, which continued at the SLTA Courts in Green Path yesterday. The promising schoolboy got his act together well from the start and went on to beat Uvain Samaraweera in straight sets 6-0, 6-1 in the third round encounter.

Ganuka Fernando beat Kenuka Geeganage 6-3, 6-0. Dhanushka Dias beat Aahil Kaleel 6-1, 7-6. R. Gunawardane beat Jamal Sabry 6-3, 6-3. Jayin De Seram beat Aweesh Ganegoda 6-3, 0-6, 10-6.
