Postal employees go on sick leave, despite leave cancellation
Despite the cancellation of leave of all postal employees, several postal unions have launched a 24-hour trade union action by going on sick leave.
Postal and Telecommunication Services Union President Chinthaka Bandara stated that the trade union action was launched based on six demands including shortcomings in the recruitment process for the Postal Department.
