Colombo District reports highest number of COVID patients yesterday
Among the 963 COVID patients reported yesterday (10), the highest number of COVID patients were identified from the Colombo District which was 298 patients.
From the Gampaha District, 255 cases were reported, while 81 cases were reported from the Kalutara District.
Since the beginning of the second coronavirus wave on 04 October, from the Colombo District 26,709 COVID patients were reported.
During the same period, 14,406 COVID patients were reported from the Gampaha District, while 5,493 COVID patients were reported from the Kalutara District.
The total number of COVID cases in Sri Lanka stands at 72,174, while 65,644 have recovered with 6,155 still receiving treatment.
