Minister Bandula suggests substitute for coconut oil
Minister Bandula Gunawardena says that soybean oil can be used as a substitute of coconut oil.
Speaking in Parliament today the Trade Minister said that currently soybean oil is being sold at lower prices in Sathosa outlets all over the country.
“We have introduced soybean oil to the market as a substitute for coconut oil. This is from soybeans cultivated in our country, we are selling it at a lower price” Minister Gunawardane said.
