Rs. 50 fine for 4 women idling on Colombo streets without any reason at night
The Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court today imposed a fine on four young women on charges of idling on the streets in the night without a reason.
According to Mawbima newspaper, Fort Magistrate Priyantha Liyanage imposed a fine of Rs. 50 each on the four women.
The four women were arrested by the Fort Police and charges were filed against them for idling on the streets.
The case was taken up for hearing by the Fort Magistrates Court yesterday, during which the judge had imposed a fine on the four women.
