8 Senior DIGs given transfers with immediate effect
Eight Senior DIGs have been given transfers with immediate effect, and SSP E. M. M. S. Dehideniya was appointed as the new director of the Criminal Investigations Department.
The Police Spokesperson's Office said that the Inspector General of Police has ordered the immediate implementation of the transfers and new appointments of senior state-appointed officers as decided by the National Police Commission.
The Police Spokesperson's Office said that accordingly, 8 senior DIGs and one DIG have been transferred.
