COVID death toll rise to 511
With the report of four COVID deaths yesterday (09), the death toll in the country increased to 511.
The details of the deceased are as below.
An 81-year-old female from Uduwil died at the National Infectious Diseases Hospital. The cause of death was identified to be blood poisoning, Covid infection and acute diabetes.
A 76-year-old male from Horape died at the National Infectious Diseases Hospital. The cause of death was identified to be acute stroke, Covid infection, acute diabetes and high blood pressure.
A 57-year-old male from Akurana died at the Theldeniya Base Hospital. The cause of death was identified to be Covid pneumonia and kidney failure.
A 62-year-old male from Ragama died at the Mulleriywa Base Hospital. The cause of death was identified to be Covid pneumonia, cancer and acute diabetes
