Crackdown on Drug-Impaired Drivers: 125 Arrested in Southern Province, Island-Wide Expansion Planned
State Minister of Transport Lasantha Alagiyawanna says that 125 drivers have been arrested for driving under the influence of drugs.
He said that the special program to identify individuals driving under the influence of drugs in the southern province and highways is currently underway.
He says that based on its success, it is expected to be implemented throughout the island.
