ID information to be verified online
The Department of Registration of Persons has implemented a special program to verify the information in the National Identity Card, online.
It will be useful in fulfilling the service requirements of government agencies, corporations, statutory boards, banks and financial institutions, telephone service providers, insurance companies etc.
This will enable the clients of the relevant institutions to use their identity cards online at their discretion.
The Department of Registration of Persons stated that these programs will enable the verification of identities
