Army opens fire on vehicle that refuses to heed to stop order (Video)
Two persons were hospitalized after being shot by an Army after refusing to heed the order to stop Manikkarwalaw area in Omanthai.
The police stated that the cab was ordered to stop during a raid carried out this morning on information received regarding an illegal timber racket, but it had continued to drive.
The person who was driving the cab at that time had also tried to cause an accident to the Army officers.
The injured were residents of Omanthai.
