Ratnapura District reports highest number of COVID patients yesterday
Among the 317 COVID patients reported yesterday (03), the highest number of COVID patients were identified from the Ratnapura District which was 72 patients.
Another 63 COVID patients were reported from the Colombo District.
From the Gampaha District, 57 cases were reported, while 04 cases were reported from the Kalutara District.
Since the beginning of the second coronavirus wave on 04 October, from the Colombo District 29,856 COVID patients were reported.
During the same period, 16,661 COVID patients were reported from the Gampaha District, while 6,216 COVID patients were reported from the Kalutara District.
The total number of COVID cases in Sri Lanka stands at 83,870, while 80,020 have recovered with 3,367 still receiving treatment.
