Colombo District reports highest number of COVID patients yesterday
Among the 310 COVID patients reported yesterday (02), the highest number of COVID patients were identified from the Colombo District which was 60 patients.
From the Gampaha District, 40 cases were reported, while 06 cases were reported from the Kalutara District.
Another 34 patients were reported from the Ratnapura District.
Since the beginning of the second coronavirus wave on 04 October, from the Colombo District 29,793 COVID patients were reported.
During the same period, 16,604 COVID patients were reported from the Gampaha District, while 6,211 COVID patients were reported from the Kalutara District.
The total number of COVID cases in Sri Lanka stands at 83,552, while 79,422 have recovered with 3,654 still receiving treatment.
