Police issue warning to social media users (Video)
The Police Media Spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana has warned the public to beware of scam messages and calls received through social media accounts and telephones.
According to the police, Nigerians in Sri Lanka are likely to carry out this racket during the day.
Ajith Rohana further stated that 24 Nigerians have been arrested for their involvement in such fraudulent activities.
