Colombo District reports highest number of COVID patients yesterday
Among the 497 COVID patients reported yesterday (27), the highest number of COVID patients were identified from the Colombo District which was 151 patients.
From the Gampaha District, 89 cases were reported, while 15 cases were reported from the Kalutara District.
Since the beginning of the second coronavirus wave on 04 October, from the Colombo District 29,581 COVID patients were reported.
During the same period, 16,456 COVID patients were reported from the Gampaha District, while 6,180 COVID patients were reported from the Kalutara District.
The total number of COVID cases in Sri Lanka stands at 82,430, while 77,625 have recovered with 4,341 still receiving treatment.
