Airport traffic picks up - 1080 people arrive and 546 leave
During the past 24 hours 1080 people who were abroad have arrived in the island.
The group has arrived in the island from China, the United Arab Emirates, Dubai, Qatar, Kuwait and India, the airport official said.
Another 456 passengers have left the Katunayake International Airport for foreign countries.
