Colombo District reports highest number of COVID patients yesterday
Among the 514 COVID patients reported yesterday (18), the highest number of COVID patients were identified from the Colombo District which was 105 patients.
From the Gampaha District, 68 cases were reported, while 51 cases were reported from the Kalutara District.
Another 68 patients were reported from the Kandy.
Since the beginning of the second coronavirus wave on 04 October, from the Colombo District 28,440 COVID patients were reported.
During the same period, 15,759 COVID patients were reported from the Gampaha District, while 5,982 COVID patients were reported from the Kalutara District.
The total number of COVID cases in Sri Lanka stands at 78,420, while 71,823 have recovered with 6,167 still receiving treatment.
