Sangakkara’s daughter’s Petition to Wildlife Minister
Former Sri Lanka Cricketer Kumar Sangakkara’s daughter Swyree has launched an online petition to stop cruelty towards elephants in Sri Lanka.
The online petition has been addressed to Minister of Wildlife and Forest Conservation C.B. Ratnayake.
Stating that cruelty against elephants has become quite a complicated conversation in Sri Lanka, Swyree urged the public to sign the petition to stop cruelty against elephants in the country.
Meanwhile, Sangakara’s son Kavith had also launched an online petition to ban commercial dog breeding in Sri Lanka.
