Water cut imposed in several areas
The National Water Supply and Drainage Board stated that the water supply to several areas supplied by the Kethhena Water Treatment Plant will be suspended for ten and a half hours on 21 February due to essential maintenance work by the Ceylon Electricity Board.
The water cut will be experienced from 08:30 a.m. to 07:00 p.m. in Wadduwa, Waskaduwa, Pothupitiya, Kalutara North and South, Katukurunda, Nagoda, Bentota, Payagala, Beruwala, Bentota, Bombuwala - Pilaminawatta, Maggona and Aluthgama - Dharga Town.
Meanwhile, the water supply to several areas in Galle was suspended for 18 hours from 08:30 a.m. today (18) to 02:30 a.m. tomorrow (19).
The water supply to Bope-Poddala, Hapugala, Akmeemana, Habaraduwa, Koggala, Ahangama, Rathgama and Dodanduwa was suspended
