Three individuals detected with COVID-19 in Mathugama
Three individuals have been detected with COVID-19 in Mathugama, Public Health Inspector (PHI) and Admin of the Ministry of Health office in the area G.D. Lionel said.
The patients have been identified as the driver, conductor and owner of a luxury bus operated on the Mathugama- Colombo Expressway.
The driver and conductor of the bus are residents of Navulthuduwa and Badugama areas in Mathugama respectively.
PHI Lionel further said that the owner of the bus is a resident of Ovitigala area in Mathugama.
The three individuals had been detected as patients after they undertook PCR tests at the Nagoda hospital in Kalutara on their own yesterday (12).
