Complete destruction of vehicle after accident (Photos)
A car has met with an accident in the Katupitiya area on the Kurunegala - Rambukkana main road last night (08).
The car reportedly veered off the road and caught fire after hitting a nearby high-powered electric pole.
The car was completely destroyed by the fire and the electric pole was also severely damaged.
It was revealed that three persons were in the car at the time of the accident, and they were under the influence of alcohol.
Two of them have been arrested by the Pothuhera Police while the other has reportedly fled.
