COVID positive couple who was in hiding, apprehended
Police have arrested a man in Pothuwatawana, Koswatta while fleeing with his wife after being diagnosed with a COVID infection following a PCR test.
He is a resident of Hendala who works in a factory in Ja-Ela.
Police Media Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana stated that the arrested suspect and his wife were referred to a treatment center and that action will be taken against them under the quarantine law.
