Colombo District reports highest number of COVID patients yesterday
Among the 726 COVID patients reported yesterday (06), the highest number of COVID patients were identified from the Colombo District which was 116 patients.
From the Gampaha District, 101 cases were reported, while 51 cases were reported from the Kalutara District.
Since the beginning of the second coronavirus wave on 04 October, from the Colombo District 25,689 COVID patients were reported.
During the same period, 13,540 COVID patients were reported from the Gampaha District, while 5,210 COVID patients were reported from the Kalutara District.
The total number of COVID cases in Sri Lanka stands at 68,576, while 62,594 have recovered with 5,631 still receiving treatment.
