The Centenary Academy was launched today in Colombo to train future generation of political leaders.

The Centenary Academy is a diverse, results-driven political movement with a 2048 vision of creating a progressive, well-trained, competent generation of political leaders for Sri Lanka who will transform the political, economic, and social landscape of the country.

At the Centenary Academy, 50 aspiring political leaders from across Sri Lanka will come together for a 52 week intensive program, to learn and practice grassroots mobilization, political strategy policy formulation and more.

These 50 changemakers have received a full scholarship to be a part of a groundbreaking journey towards transforming Sri Lanka’s political culture. They will be equipped with intellectually stimulating, transformative learning guided by an inspirational faculty of outstanding members.

The students of the Academy truly believe that Sri Lanka can do better, refuse to accept the status quo and have the courage to strive and serve till they see change. Sri Lanka needs and  deserves a new generation of leaders and we believe that the youth must stand up today to transform tomorrow.
