Discussion between party secretaries and Election Commission
A special discussion is being held between the secretaries of recognized political parties and representatives of the Election Commission.
It was at the head office of the commission in Rajagiriya.
A spokesman for the Election Commission stated that the discussion which commenced at around 10 am today will focus on a number of issues important to political parties.
Accordingly, special attention will be paid to the revision of electoral rolls.
In addition, the Secretaries of political parties will be briefed on the submission of annual accounts, the Elections Commission spokesman said.
