Dr. Dayan Jayatillake appointed senior international relations advisor to Opposition Leader
Former Sri Lanka diplomat Dr. Dayan Jayatillake has been appointed as the senior international relations advisor to opposition leader Sajith Premadasa.
Jayatilleka was Sri Lanka’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Geneva between June 2007 and October 2009 under President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s Government.
Dr.Dayan Jayatilleka was until last year Sri Lanka’s ambassador to the Russian Federation. He has also served as ambassador to France and Unesco.
