12-hour water cut to several areas in Polonnaruwa
A 12-hour water cut will be experienced in several areas of Polonnaruwa District on Tuesday (October 13), stated the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB).
Accordingly, the water cut will be in effect from 9.00 am to 9.00 pm on the aforementioned date.
The NWSDB stated that the water cut is due to a repair work of the Minneriya water storage tank of the Water Board.
The interruption to the water supply will affect the Minneriya, Hingurakgoda, Minneriya town, Minneriya-Habarana road to Giritale, Gal Oya road, Hingurakgoda town and surrounding areas, Malakapura, Thambalawewa, and Sinha Udagama areas.
