Education Minister's indication about A/L result release dates
At a media briefing held yesterday (04) Education Minister Prof. G.L. Pieris stated that the education authorities hope to release the General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) results during the latter part of March 2021 or the first week of April.
He also noted that they hope to compile the university admission in a short period of time.
When inquired regarding the General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) examinations, a source at the Education Ministry stated that it will be conducted from 01 to 11 March 2021, and thus far no change was made to the appointed dates.
Meanwhile, the Education Ministry has released a set of guidelines that are required to be adhered to when re-opening schools on 11 January in areas except on isolated areas and Western Province.
