Minuwangoda Police Station reopens
The Minuwangoda Police Station which was temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 spread has been reopened from yesterday evening.
The Minuwangoda Police Station was temporarily closed following its canteen owner testing positive for the virus.
DIG Ajith Rohana said that the Minuwangoda Police station resumed operations after fully disinfecting the station.
Eighty Police officers from the surrounding Police stations of Gampaha District and officers of Police Training Schools of Kalutara, Nikaweratiya, Pahalagama, Boralanda, Kundasale and Elpitiya are deploying to perform the duties of the station, DIG Ajith Rohana said.
