Nearly 10,000 RATs conducted on persons exiting WP
Police Media Spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana states that nearly 10,000 rapid antigen tests were carried out on persons exiting the Western Province.
Accordingly, out of 1,359 rapid antigen tests carried out yesterday (28) seven persons were identified as COVID patients.
They were referred to treatment centers and thus far 61 such cases were identified in the Western Province.
DIG Ajith Rohana stated that 315 of their associates were identified and were directed to quarantine.
