18 COVID patients identified at Watawala Factory
Another 18 infected people were identified from a garment factory in Watawala, Hatton where COVID infections were reported.
Accordingly, the factory was closed down again stated the Ambagamuwa Medical Officer of Health as a total number of 50 COVID patients were identified from the factory.
Another 34 COVID infections were identified in the Kumarimulla village, Pugoda and the total number of cases reported from that village has risen to 70, said Dompe Administrative Public Health Inspector W.A. Bandaranayake to the Hiru News team
