Grama Niladari officers threaten to launch indefinite strike
Grama Niladari trade unions say they will launch an indefinite strike from Monday (08), if they don't receive a favourable response to their demands on Friday (05).
They are currently engaged in a work-to-rule campaign against the failure to formulate a service constitution and increase allowances.
General Secretary of the All Island Freedom Grama Niladari Union Jagath Chandralal said the Ministry is yet to notify them of a decision despite several discussions.
