
Mahinda, Namal light lamps to remember tsunami victims (pictures)
Prime minister Mahinda Rajapaksa today (26) lit lamps and remembered the Sri Lankan victims of the Asian tsunami 16 years ago.
Accompanied by his wife Shiranthi, he also observed a two-minute silence from 9.25 am to honour the dead, says the PM’s office.
Minister Namal Rajapaksa too, lit lamps in remembrance of the tsunami victims.
