Grace period given to settle Electricity bills extended until end next year (2021)
The deadline for hotels registered with the Tourism Development Authority to pay their electricity bills has been extended until the end of next year.
The Ministry of Power and Energy stated that the grace period for payment of arrears of electricity bills due to the impact on the industry due to the Corona pandemic had been extended to September 2021 and that the period has been extended again to December 31 next year.
The Ministry stated that the arrears could be settled in equal installments during the relevant year.
