
Accidents claim six lives in 24 hours
At least six deaths had been caused due to motor accidents in the last 24 hours, police said.
The accidents had taken place in the Katunayake, Kalutara South, Meegoda, Ampara, and Polgahawela areas.
The public has been requested to abide by road rules to avoid accidents, police spokesman Ajith Rohana noted.
