New Chairman and Deputy Chairman Appointed for Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha
The Election Commission has issued a special gazette notification announcing the appointment of the Chairman and Deputy Chairman for the Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha.
Nishantha Perera from Colombo has been appointed as the Chairman, while Sumith Chandana has been named Deputy chairman.
The National People's Power secured control in the Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha election held on the 26th of October, winning 15 out of 17 electorates.
