Abide by quarantine rules during festive season - 1,562 arrested for violations
Police Media Spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana states that 37 persons have been arrested in the past 24 hours for not wearing face masks and maintaining social distance.
Accordingly, 1,562 persons have been arrested for such offenses during the period from October 30 to date.
Meanwhile, DIG Ajith Rohana further stated that the people should abide by the quarantine orders during the coming weekend as well as during the festive season.
