UNP appoint another committee
The United National Party (UNP) has appointed a committee comprising its seniors to select the next year's officials.
Meanwhile, the nominees for the party's national list will be announced in early January.
However, UNP General Secretary Shamal Senarath told the Hiru news team that party leader Ranil Wickremesinghe has not yet given a definite response regarding the parliamentary representation from the National List.
