CID probes underhand deals in Motor Traffic Dept.
The CID is investigating the underhand deals that reportedly take place in the Motor Traffic Commissioner s Department.
Many complaints allege wrongdoing in the issuance of driving licenses and related work at the Department’s head office and at the Werahera office.
President Gotabaya Rajapaksa visited the Department some time ago and instructed officials to make its service efficient and free of unlawful activity
State minister Dilum Amunugama says strong action will be taken against the perpetrators.
