LPL : Kandy Tuskers face another setback ahead of today’s clash

The Kandy Tuskers who lost a nail biter on the first LPL 2020 game are likely to face another setback even before they face Dambulla Viikings in a day- game this afternoon.

According to Kandy Tuskers sources Irfan Pathan is unlikely to play today due to the injury he sustained in the last game. This places the team in big trouble with only 2 overseas players available for today’s game.

The tournament rules say a minimum of 3 and maximum of 4 overseas players must play.

But with still Brendan Taylor and Munaf Patel in quarantine, Kandy are compelled to play with only 2 overseas players against the Dambulla Viikings today.

While it might seem a setback, it could provide an opportunity for Sri Lankan players in the Tuskers squad.
